Friday afternoons at Garre Fine Art
John and Karen Garre are breathing new life into Art Walks. For the first Art Walk of the season, actors Gillian and Sarah Swanson and Jason Moreland performed one of John’s works. (In addition to being a painter, John is also a writer and musician.) Because I don’t read the Livingston Enterprise, I sadly missed this event.
But Karen tells me that the gallery will be hosting “Ease Into Friday Night” events starting this Friday, July 9. On every Friday evening except Art Walk Fridays, Garre Fine Art will host an hour of John’s readings, as well as music and snacks to get you started on your way to the weekend and whatever you have planned for a Livingston Friday night. All of that and art in the beautiful setting of the Garre’s gallery.
5:30 to 6:30 PM, every Friday except Art Walk Fridays, at 112 N Main Street in Livingston.
