About
Arts Montana was established March 27, 2007 as a public service to the Livingston community and those interested in our many cultural offerings. When the ArtsMontana.com domain name was lost to an unscrupulous domain registrar, artsmo was off the air while I tried to recover it. Now the site is back as ArtsMontana.net with a new look and a new approach.
Now the emphasis is on visual links to area artists’ Web sites, shown on the Home page. Blog entries about current and upcoming shows and events will be highlighted at the top of each page in a running “stock ticker” of latest entries in the “events/shows” category so you can easily see what is happening in Livingston arts right now. As you can see from this site, Livingston is an area where the arts play a large part in local culture, and there are many creative and talented people here. Pretty remarkable for a town of just 6800 people.
